Elementary English Teacher 2026-2027 School YearApplication Review & Interviews: Applications will be reviewed and interviews will be scheduled beginning April 2026.Colorado International Language Academy (CILA) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Elementary English Teacher to teach ELA, Social Studies, and Science for the 2026-27 school year. This position supports students as they strengthen literacy, content knowledge, and critical thinking skills.CILA is a tuition-free public charter school offering language immersion in Spanish, Mandarin, and German. This English-language position plays a key role in supporting academic growth within a globally focused, multilingual school environment.Key Responsibilities:Teach English Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science aligned with Colorado Academic Standards and CILA curriculumPlan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons across content areasDifferentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learnersAssess student learning and provide timely, meaningful feedbackFoster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environmentCollaborate with grade-level teams, specialists, and administrationCommunicate effectively with families regarding student progress and expectationsParticipate in professional development, team meetings, and school-wide eventsQualifications:Bachelor's degree requiredColorado teaching license preferred but not requiredMust be able to pass the Praxis exam(s) for the subject areas taughtExperience teaching upper elementary preferredStrong classroom management and organizational skillsAbility to differentiate instruction and support a range of learning needsCommitment to collaboration, reflection, and continuous improvementEnthusiasm for working with students in a multicultural, language-rich environmentSalary & Benefits:Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and credentials.
