Job Title: Engineer (Contractor)Job Description:5+ years of software engineering experience or total equivalent experienceStrong hands-on production experience working with Big Data platforms, building and optimizing data pipelines that involve data processing and streaming platforms using Lambdas, Kinesis, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB and S3Strong experience in JavaExperience in Agile practices and promoting Agile development techniques such as TDD, clientD and CI/CDProduction experience in AWS, Docker containers, Infrastructure Automation and REST-based API developmentExperience in software product delivery and operations for large scale customer facing and mission critical products or solutionsWork with a team of data engineers and technology experts to deliver big data streaming platform and data management capabilitiesDevelop software to create cutting edge solutions by writing maintainable, extensible, tested code, while complying with coding standardsBe hands-on in following best practices in development, microservices design and CI/CD methodologiesGood understanding of NodeJS is nice to haveUnderstanding test automation frameworks, optimizing performance and security enabling delivery of robust and maintainable architectureUnderstanding of concepts regarding security, privacy, performance, etc.Experience in building APIM solutions using Apigee or similar productsExperience with DevOps automation and building CI/CD pipelines – Terraform, Gitlab Runner/Jenkins, CloudFormation, etc.
