Technology Product Management Director

What is the Position? Evercore is seeking a Director, Product Manager within Technology to support the Human Capital Group (HCG). This is a high-impact role focused on defining and delivering digital products, data capabilities, and workflow solutions that enhance how HCG operates across the employee lifecycle (e.g., recruiting, onboarding, talent management, compliance, and employee experience). The Director will partner closely with HCG leadership and Technology teams to identify opportunities, set product strategy, and drive execution of scalable, user‑centric solutions. We are seeking a strategic, hands‑on product leader who is comfortable operating across business and technology, with a strong bias toward delivery and measurable outcomes. Primary Responsibilities Partner with HCG stakeholders to understand business priorities, pain points, and opportunities across the employee lifecycle, and translate them into a clear product vision and roadmap. Define, prioritize, and manage a portfolio of HCG technology products (e.g., HRIS, workflow tools, analytics platforms, employee‑facing applications). Translate business needs into detailed product requirements and user stories; collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to design and deliver scalable, secure solutions. Lead end‑to‑end product lifecycle management, including discovery, design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement. Drive adoption and user engagement through strong change management, training, and stakeholder communication. Leverage data and analytics to measure product performance, inform prioritization, and continuously improve user experience and business outcomes. Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (including GenAI and automation) to enhance HCG workflows and employee experience. Ensure alignment with firm standards across data governance, security, compliance, and risk management. Coordinate with cross‑functional partners (e.g., Compliance, Finance, Legal, IT) to support integrated solutions and enterprise initiatives. Specific Qualifications 10+ years of experience in product management, technology, or digital transformation roles, preferably within financial services or enterprise environments. Strong product management fundamentals, including roadmap development, requirements definition, and agile delivery. Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple products across a division, balancing competing demands and aligning to strategic objectives. Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders, influencing decision‑making and aligning technology solutions to business priorities. Experience working with HR/HCM platforms (e.g., Workday) and related ecosystems. Demonstrated ability to translate complex business needs into scalable technology solutions. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and collaborate across technical and non‑technical teams. Familiarity with data analytics, workflow automation, and emerging technologies such as GenAI is preferred. Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously. This position requires valid United States work authorization and is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
