Job DescriptionVacuum Coating Technician2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 2:00pm - 12:00am (midnight)Job Title: Vacuum Coating TechnicianDepartment: CoatingReports To: Production Manager Coating OperationsEEO Job Category: TechniciansFLSA: Non-exemptRange: 1Location: OnsiteDate: October 2023Job Summary/Objective:The Vacuum Coating Technician operates and maintains multiple pieces of high-vacuum equipment producing a wide variety of complex optical coatings. They work with a team to optimize output and maximize performance.Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:Prepare coating equipment for deposition including but not limited to chemical preparation, media blasting, hardware changes, job selectionOperate, maintain, and troubleshoot high-vacuum thin film deposition equipment.
