Make a lasting impact.Laurel Hill Center is seeking a CARE Program Coordinator to provide day-to-day leadership for our CARE program while continuing hands-on, client-centered service. This is a working supervisor role—perfect for a behavioral health professional who enjoys coaching staff, strengthening team culture, and maintaining a meaningful connection to client work.Founded in 1972, Laurel Hill Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping adults with psychiatric disabilities build skills, confidence, and independence to live and work successfully in the community.What You’ll DoTeam Leadership & Program Support (30%)Provide daily guidance, direction, and support to CARE program staffServe as a primary resource for scheduling, workflow, and program expectationsFoster a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative team cultureCommunicate program updates and ensure services meet organizational and regulatory standardsStaff Supervision & Operations (20%)Participate in coaching, performance management, and disciplinary processes in collaboration with management and HRReview and approve timecards and leave requests; monitor attendance and coverageSupport onboarding and training of new staffDirect Client Services (50%)Maintain an active caseload with an average of 12 hours per week of direct service, including case management, skills training, screenings, and crisis interventionConduct applicant screenings, assessments, goal planning, and progress reviewsComplete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health recordRequirementsWhat We’re Looking ForRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in mental health, social services, or a related field (or equivalent), plus three years of experience supporting individuals with mental illnessQMHA through the Mental Health and Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (at time of hire), QMHA-II certification preferred.Valid Oregon driver’s license and acceptable driving recordAbility to pass required background, fingerprinting, and drug screeningPreferredPrior experience in a lead, mentor, or supervisory roleKey Skills & StrengthsStrong knowledge of mental health treatment and trauma-informed careAbility to balance supervisory responsibilities with direct service deliverySound judgment, professionalism, and commitment to ethical practice and confidentialityExcellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsComfort working with diverse populations and individuals experiencing serious mental illness (SMI)Why Laurel Hill Center?Mission-driven, community-focused nonprofit serving Lane CountyCollaborative and supportive work environmentFull benefits package including standard PTO and holidaysOpportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of clients and colleaguesLaurel Hill Center is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
