IMC is currently hiring a Behavioral Health Attendant, who working under the supervision and guidance of professionalstaff, the Behavioral Health Attendant provides observation of patientsand when appropriate, performs various patient care activities necessary incaring for the personal needs and comfort of patient. EDUCATION:High school graduate. TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:Previous experience preferred, but not required. JOB KNOWLEDGE:Basic knowledge of the nursing process and nursing principles. CPR RESPONSIBILITIESDemonstrates respect for patients andfamilies. Maintains and protects confidentialityregarding all aspects of patient care. Functions as a positive role model forpeers and promotes a professional image of Iberia Medical Center. Maintains confidentiality, security, andintegrity of patient and organizational data. Consistently lives by Iberia MedicalCenters Standards of Performance. Adheres to the Patient Safety Goals. Assists patients with eating, mobility,dressing, and toileting.
