Creo Parametric Trainer
Madison College is seeking an experienced mechanical designer, product designer, engineer, or CAD professional with advanced Creo Parametric experience to provide customized workforce training for a manufacturing industry partner in West Bend, Wisconsin starting this August through the end of October of this year.This part-time instructional assignment focuses on training current design professionals who use Creo in their day-to-day work. The objective is to strengthen and expand the organization's internal design capabilities through hands-on instruction and practical application of Creo Parametric CAD/CAM/CAE tools.Key Details:-Training delivered onsite at the employer's facility in West Bend, WI-Approximately 72 instructional hours-Anticipated schedule of two six-hour sessions per week starting in August of 2026 with completion by end of October of 2026.-Training sessions are expected to occur during afternoon and early evening hours, with some scheduling flexibility-Instructional rate: $63.39 per hourCurriculum & Course Development:An established curriculum is already in place. Instructors will have the opportunity to refine course materials, develop assessments, and enhance training content as needed. Up to 36 additional paid hours are available for preparation and curriculum development at $39.67 per hour.Ideal candidates will have:-Advanced proficiency with Creo Parametric-Professional experience in mechanical design, product design, engineering technology, manufacturing engineering, or related field-The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to adult learners-Prior teaching, training, mentoring, or workforce development experience is helpful but not requiredThis opportunity is ideal for an industry professional, consultant, retiree, engineer, designer, or technical trainer looking for a flexible, short-term teaching assignment while helping develop Wisconsin's manufacturing workforce.Ideally, the college would like to offer program teaching work as a part-time instructor in the future to the individual if there is an interest.Minimum Qualifications:1.Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Design, Technology Education, Career and Technical Education, or a closely related discipline.AND2.
