This position applies trade skills to a wide variety of welding jobs on ferrous and nonferrous metals. This position will report directly to the Operations Supervisor.Duties And ResponsibilitiesWeld steel parts in a jig fixture Read blueprints and communicate with co-workersSet up, run, and operate machineryCount and maintain accurate tracking systemReport any equipment issues to department leadPerform required quality checksFollow all process and Work Instructions at all timesComplete all welding tasks on timeAbility to use and read tape measureAll other duties as assignedTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
