OverviewJob Title: OAP Systems Support SpecialistDepartment: College of NursingLocation: Hybrid (three on-campus days per week; in-person meetings as needed)Organization: University of Colorado Anschutz Medical CampusJob Type: Full-time, 1.0 FTEJob SummaryThe College of Nursing is seeking a full-time Systems Support Specialist for the Office of Academic Programs (OAP). This position supports data entry processes for the OAP software systems, including InPlace and TAMs. The OAP Systems Support Specialist serves as a Super User, providing support and training to faculty, students, and staff. The ideal candidate is technically minded, detail-oriented, and enjoys problem-solving. The role collaborates with the CU Nursing Information Technology Team and campus stakeholders.Key Responsibilities(40%) Ensure accurate and timely input of data into InPlace (Office of Academic Programs software system). Serve as OAP Super UserComplete student program plan audits each semester; cross-reference data for accuracy; identify issues in source documents and inform supervisor or applicable leaderComplete program plan changes and updatesCreate course buildsComplete Graduate Clinical Instructor Evaluations(30%) Ensure accurate and timely input of data into the Teaching Assignment Management System (TAMS; OAP software). Serve as OAP Super UserUpdate workload changesComplete yearly course buildsExtract information and generate reports as requested(20%) Utilize Course Eval software to produce Experiential Learning Team reports, including: Simulation evaluationsUndergraduate clinical site and instructor evaluationsGather and organize course, student, and faculty metrics (enrollment, headcount, credit hours, admissions, completion rate, demographics, etc.) to guide business decisions within OAP(10%) Communication and education. Update and create intranet content for OAP (user materials, training videos)Provide faculty education, user materials, and training videos on TAMSCreate weekly updated SIS and TAMS spreadsheets to ensure accuracy in teaching plans and courses offeredCommunicate with Finance Team to ensure accurate administrative workload detailsNote: These examples apply to both Entry and Intermediate levels; at the entry level duties are limited in scope and performed with guidance.Work LocationHybrid – three days per week on campus; in-person meetings as needed.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Entry Professional:Bachelor's degree in business, administration, finance, accounting, education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, computer science, management/computer information systems, computer engineering, information technology, or related field from an accredited institution.Intermediate Professional:Bachelor's degree in the fields above.One (1) year of experience with data entry, complex scheduling, or similar functions.Substitutions:Education and related experience may substitute for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis.A master's degree in the listed fields may substitute for an unrelated bachelor's degree.Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Overtime eligibility may apply depending on level.
