If you're looking to make a huge impact on the lives of children as well as grow in the childcare industry, give us a call!What You'll DoDuties include but aren't limited to:Be the primary caregiver for up to four children in the classroomEngage children in activities and play that stimulates their developmentAppropriately supervise children while keeping them safe at all timesAssist children with activities of daily life (restroom use, diapering, hand washing)Approach parents daily and speak with them about their child(ren)Creating and maintaining an environment that is clean, organized, and safe for all childrenEstablish a professional level of rapport with each family in order to provide quality care and friendly serviceSupervise teacher aides in the classroom and ensure they are following program policy and customer service expectationsTrain any teacher aides in the classroom and direct them as to what duties need to be carried out throughout the dayPlan daily activities that are developmentally appropriate for young childrenConduct child assessments and facilitate parent-teacher conferencesAttend and engage in occasional parent participation events and other events that may be on nights and/or weekendsPrepare monthly parent newsletters and weekly lesson plans according to policyBe responsible for daily sheets and the daily activities pertaining to eating, sleeping, and diaper changingMaintain a professional self-image and project the values of the organization at all timesRequirementsThe ideal candidate MUST possess the following:High School Diploma or equivalentChild Development Associate (CDA)3-5 years childcare experienceFirst Aid/CPR TrainingValid Driver's LicenseBenefitsFull time employees are offered:Medical/Dental/Life/Accident insuranceCompetitive payGreat Growth ptotentialAbout UsThe Success Learning Academy (TSLA) takes pride in offering a nurturing environment that embrace and develops the whole child with powerful interactions and a strong foundation.Our mission and vision is shared and carried out by our entire staff.Our mission is to Support by Uplifting Children and the Community to Empower Student Success.Our vision is to ensure that every child is successful in reaching or exceeding their greatest potential.The Success Learning Academy, Inc.
