Position Title: Director of SalesLocation: Northern New EnglandSalary: $80,000-$95,000About the OpportunityA well-established upscale lifestyle hotel in northern New England is seeking a Director of Sales to lead revenue growth and business development efforts for a high-profile property known for its vibrant downtown setting, year-round tourism, and strong regional business activity. Drawing guests from across the country for its waterfront atmosphere, outdoor recreation, dining scene, university presence, and four-season appeal, the hotel offers an exciting opportunity for a relationship-driven sales leader to drive market growth and overall hotel performance.What You’ll LeadFull oversight of hotel sales operations across transient rooms, corporate accounts, group business, and social eventsDevelopment of new business relationships throughout the local and regional market, including businesses, universities, tourism partners, farms, artisans, event planners, and community organizationsDaily leadership of account solicitation, client relationship management, and revenue-driving sales activityOwnership of group pace, account production, forecasting, reporting, and overall sales performanceCollaboration with operations and revenue management on occupancy strategy, guest experience, and event executionRepresentation of the hotel within the local community and regional hospitality market What You BringExperience as a Director of Sales or Senior Sales Manager within a hotel, resort, or upscale hospitality environmentProven ability to cultivate new business and maintain long-term client relationshipsStrong understanding of hotel revenue strategy, group sales, corporate solicitation, and local market developmentProfessional, polished communication skills with strong organizational abilityAbility to operate successfully in a fast-moving tourism and lifestyle-driven marketMarriott experience is a plus RequirementsExperience working with Delphi Strong background in hotel CRM management, account tracking, and sales reportingAbility to develop and manage negotiated corporate accounts and group business pipelinesExperience preparing sales forecasts, pace reports, and monthly production reportingComfortable conducting outside sales calls, client presentations, networking events, and community outreachKnowledge of Marriott systems and brand sales processes preferredAbility to work closely with revenue management to maximize occupancy and rate strategyStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Why This RoleOpportunity to take ownership of a well-positioned upscale lifestyle hotel within a highly desirable destination marketWork in a location known for tourism, outdoor recreation, dining, arts, and strong community energyJoin a growing hospitality company with long-term vision and continued regional growthHigh-visibility role with direct impact on hotel performance and market presence Full property and company details will be shared during the interview process with qualified candidates.About us:ASAP Associates is New England's oldest and most established name in hospitality recruitment and consulting.
