Semiconductor Process Engineer/Technician – 2nd ShiftJob Category: Miscellaneous Requisition Number: SHIFT001038Posted: February 6, 2025Full-Time On-site Durham, NC 27713, USADescriptionThis engineer will support documentation, implementation, and improving robust mechanical assembly methodology in the areas of IR scene projector arrays, detector modules, RF or Digital semiconductor electrical component and IC chips assembly and packaging in a broad range of configurations.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Develop and manage assembly processes – such as die attaching, wire bonding, underfill, flip-chip assembly process,Assist with development and design of advanced packaging and electromechanical fixturing for customer requirements or internal demandsConceive methods and processes to meet customer's prototype packaging and assembly requirementsDevelop bills of materials and operation routers for assembly projects including time studies and workflow analysisSupport operation of semiconductor processing equipmentDrive cost reduction and yield improvement projectsJob Qualifications:Semiconductor wafer processing experience in a cleanroom environment is a plus.Associate, or BS in physical science/technology/engineering, or 3+ years of cleanroom or semiconductor processing experienceDue to export control rules, must be a US citizen or permanent resident.Understanding of assembly processes for engineered products and packaging, especially in the Military and Aerospace industriesOther Duties & Responsibilities:Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.Comply with all quality and ITAR policies, practices and procedures;Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals;Communicate effectively with all levels of employees;Protect confidential information by not communicating, disclosing to, or using for benefit of 3rd parties.Maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity at all times;Perform other related duties as assigned.Other Job Skills:Good hands-on lab skills, and good verbal and written communication skillsPC proficiency is a mustWorking knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPointProactive self-starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision and capacity to support multiple tasks with varying levels of complexity;Good organization, time management and prioritization skills are requiredBenefits:At Micross, our Core Values of integrity, communication, teamwork, quality and execution, self-discipline and accountability are cultivated throughout all levels of the organization.
