REIC Rentals is seeking a motivated, customer‑ and safety‑focused Yard Technician and Delivery Driver with a Class A CDL certification preferred to join our growing team. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys tinkering with and maintaining a variety of heavy equipment and delivering equipment for our customers locally.If you take pride in safe driving, organized yards, and delivering excellent service, this is an opportunity to build a long‑term career in the equipment rental industry.Hyde Park, UT Position OverviewYard Operations & Equipment ReadinessSafe Transport & Delivery of Equipment using pick‑up truck and trailerCustomer‑Facing ServiceYou’ll split time between maintaining a clean, organized yard and delivering equipment to customer job sites.Key Responsibilities Yard Technician DutiesInspect, clean, and prepare equipment for rent‑ready statusCheck fluid levels, fuel equipment, and perform basic preventative maintenanceAssist mechanics and shop team as neededOrganize yard layout for efficiency and safetyLoad and unload equipmentMaintain accurate inventory countsKeep yard, wash bay, and work areas clean and safeFollow all safety protocols and company proceduresClass A CDL Driver DutiesSafely transport heavy equipment to and from customer job sites using REIC RENTALS pick‑up truck and trailerPerform proper load securement and safety inspectionsConduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspectionsComplete delivery paperwork accuratelyCommunicate delivery updates with dispatch and store teamProvide professional, customer‑first service at job sitesComply with DOT regulations and company policiesWhat We’re Looking ForValid Class A CDL (preferred)Clean driving recordExperience hauling heavy equipment preferredFamiliarity with load securement regulationsBasic mechanical aptitudeAbility to operate forklifts, skid steers, and other equipment (or willingness to learn)Strong work ethic and reliabilityProfessional attitude with customers and team membersAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical & Work Environment RequirementsAbility to lift up to 75 lbs occasionallyFrequent walking, bending, climbing, and standingOutdoor work in varying weather conditionsComfortable working around heavy machineryWillingness to work overtime when neededBuild More Than a Job If you’re looking for a role where you can stay active, operate equipment, drive professionally, and grow within a strong organization, apply today.REIC RentalsReliable Equipment.
