Account Manager - Global Forwarding

C.H. Robinson is seeking an Account Manager to manage and grow a select portfolio of accounts across our Global Forwarding business. In this role, you will build trusted relationships with account leadership, identify new opportunities, and deliver creative logistics solutions that increase efficiency, add value, and maximize profitability. You will partner closely with customers to understand their supply chain needs, expand services and modes, and drive growth through strong relationship-building, problem-solving, and exceptional service. This is an opportunity to make a measurable impact by helping customers optimize their global supply chains while growing business within an established portfolio.At C.H. In this role, you will engage with peers on-site 5 days a week, igniting creativity and driving impactful results. Upon successful completion of your training, you will then switch to 2 days a week in the office, working the rest of the time from home. This role strikes the perfect balance between teamwork and autonomy.ResponsibilitiesRetain, grow, and strategically manage a portfolio of customer accountsBuild strong relationships with customer contacts at multiple levels to deepen engagement and uncover business needsLead regular business reviews and QBRs using analytics, market insights, and performance trends to identify growth opportunitiesPresent strategic solutions that increase customer value, expand services, and support long-term account retentionIdentify opportunities to further penetrate accounts by positioning C.H. Robinson's full range of servicesPartner with pricing, service line, operations, and product teams to develop competitive pricing strategies and customer recommendationsSupport new business implementation, including account setup, documentation, compliance requirements, c-codes, and CSOP developmentManage customer expectations through clear SOPs, KPIs, business processes, and account-specific performance metricsCollaborate cross-functionally to ensure strong execution, service consistency, and alignment with customer goalsContribute to annual account planning, budgeting, and growth strategies that drive measurable business resultsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDMinimum 2 years of Global Forwarding experienceAbility to travel up to 25% (domestically)Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited college or universityStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to adapt to ever-changing tasks and customer needs; ability to make data-driven decisionsAbility to thrive under deadlines and work in a team environment, while also delivering independent resultsStrong prioritization skills, multi-tasking skills, and works with a sense of urgencyStrong written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency presenting to both internal and external audiencesExperience collaborating with multiple stakeholders across varying organizational levels, both internally and externallyAbility to develop a thorough understanding of C.H. Robinson's service portfolio, business strategies and technology systemsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programsValues a diverse and inclusive work environmentCompensation Range$59,600.00 - $124,600.00The base pay range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this specific location.
