To learn more about our company culture, philosophy, and benefits, please visit our company page.ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC, manual saws and hydraulic press efficiently with minimal or no scrap, follow production schedules, shop orders and drawings per department Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)Review and understand drawings, routings, material and work instructions prior to production preventing/reducing scrapTransact, issue, prepare and deliver completed product per department Standard Operating ProceduresComplete all transactions efficiently and correctlySafely and efficiently move material and equipment with the use of overhead cranes or forkliftsRecommend and complete Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for process improvementsComplete 5S initiatives, keeping the department organized and cleaned dailyIt is essential that this position is performed at the facility.RequirementsExperience using manufacturing equipmentExperience operating a forklift Must be a self-managed with the ability to trouble shoot and resolve issuesWork flexible or overtime hours to meet production schedulesSafely and efficiency use overhead cranes and forklift to perform daily job functionsMechanically inclined with basic math skillsMust be able to work under the stress of deadlines and meeting downstream customer datesPossess excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detailMust be computer literate with the use of Microsoft Word and OutlookMust be able to perform the essential job requirements identified in the Functional Job Description for this position, including the ability to lift and move 47 lbsDesiredPress operating experienceCNC and manual saw operating experienceWork experience in a manufacturing environmentEOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled
