Foreman Mover/Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Foreman Mover/Driver to lead moving operations with enthusiasm and professionalism. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting, loading, and unloading customer belongings while providing exceptional customer service. Duties Operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmissions to transport household or commercial goods between locations. Lead a team of movers, coordinating loading and unloading activities to ensure timely completion of jobs. Load and unload items using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring proper handling of all cargo. Safely secure loads to prevent damage during transit and verify delivery accuracy upon arrival. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive experience. Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, moving techniques, driving regulations, and equipment operation. Route driving efficiently using route plans, managing schedules to meet deadlines while maintaining safety standards. Qualifications Proven experience in delivery driving or moving services, including route driving with box trucks or similar vehicles. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and courteously. Warehouse experience or familiarity with loading/unloading procedures is preferred. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating a driver or courier vehicle is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; physically fit for demanding tasks involving manual labor. Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus. Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for commercial driving and moving operations.
