Senior Java Software Engineer

We are not accepting C2C or full-time positions.Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer with expertise in AWS, Apache Kafka, and Spring Boot. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and resilient microservices-based applications. This role requires an in-depth understanding of cloud environments, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.Implement and manage event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka for distributed data streaming and message brokering.Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy, monitor, and scale applications in AWS cloud environments using services like EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.Ensure high performance, reliability, and security of applications through proper design and coding standards.Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices and industry standards.Work in an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and stand-ups.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in the production environment.Continuously improve existing systems by identifying areas of improvement, optimization, and automation.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.Strong experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework.Proficient in AWS Cloud (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, etc.).Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, streams).Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful services.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.Strong knowledge of databases (both relational and NoSQL), such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB.Excellent understanding of software development best practices including object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and SOLID principles.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.Preferred Skills:Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch.Knowledge of Apache Camel or other integration frameworks.Understanding of serverless architectures using AWS Lambda.
