Infectious Disease Physician

JOB DESCRIPTION: Medical group in Connecticut seeking an Adult Medicine physician to join the team. Candidates with 3+ years' experience working in an ambulatory setting or providing urgent care are preferred. Incoming physician will enjoy competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package. The successful candidate will:Be a graduate of an accredited school of medicine and possess Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Infectious DiseasesSpanish speaking preferredPossess valid State of Connecticut licensure and have or be eligible to obtain DEA and state narcotic registrationBe willing and able to deliver high quality patient care in an efficient mannerBe willing and able to provide culturally competent care to a diverse patient population with complex needs in a collaborative environment.Have a track record of proven success communicating effectively with patients, peers, and other stakeholders both orally and in writing.Have demonstrated ability to maintain timely, thorough and accurate written clinical documentationBe able to make evidence-based clinical decisions and comply with department and organizational quality measuresBe comfortable using electronic health record and other computer systems HOSPITAL:Since 1970, we have existed to provide comprehensive health care services to the residents.
