Hardware Engineer - Lead/Architect
Basic Qualifications Education typically aligns with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline with 3+ years of related experience. Lead the end to end hardware development lifecycle (concept, architecture, detailed design, prototyping, verification, production, and transition to sustainment). Engineer reliability and fault tolerance: redundant system design, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), health monitoring, alerting, and maintainability plans. Architect modular, scalable compute infrastructure: blade servers, GPU clusters, PCIe/NVLink high speed interconnects, and edge compute packaging that can be deployed as a “rack as a unit.” Drive system modernization/technology refresh processes, evaluating emerging COTS components and overseeing integration into the production line.Job DescriptionWho we areLockheed Martin is a global leader in aerospace, defense, and technology solutions.
