Collections Specialist

Description We are looking for a motivated Collections Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Mountlake Terrace, Washington. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in consumer collections and customer service. As part of the team, you will play a key role in managing autopay accounts and ensuring accurate financial records.Responsibilities:- Follow up on overdue autopay accounts to ensure timely resolution and payment.- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving disputes professionally.- Utilize Sage software to track account status and maintain detailed records.- Collaborate with other departments to address discrepancies and improve collection processes.- Monitor account trends and identify potential issues to proactively address them.- Prepare and deliver reports on collection activities to management.- Assist in improving workflows for more efficient collections processes.- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.- Communicate effectively with clients to negotiate payment arrangements.- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information responsibly.
