Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. No weekend or after-hours call required. Practice Setting : Inpatient focus with daily volumes averaging 10-15 cases. Heavy focus on small GI biopsies. Approximately 1 cancer case per week. Support System : Access to consulting pathologists located approximately 45 minutes away, with a courier service for case reviews. Responsibilities : Grossing and cutting frozen sections. Specialties required include: GI, GU, Neuropathology, Dermatopathology, Cytology (GYN and Non-GYN). Minimal autopsy work (non-forensic). Solo practice environment. Requirements : Board Certification : Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. Licenses : Active California medical license and Fluoroscopy certification. Certifications : ACLS and BLS required.
