During the interim period prior to that hire, the role will report directly to the CEO.What You Will DoYou will own the marketing execution systems that help the marketing team operate efficiently.Marketing Execution SystemsMaintain the marketing execution calendar and ensure campaigns launch on scheduleCoordinate marketing initiatives across email, paid media, creators, and product launchesEnsure marketing projects move from planning to execution without operational breakdownsOwn pre-launch QA processes for all campaigns and launchesValidate links, offers, PDP alignment, and promotion visibility before launchEnsure campaigns go live accurately across all channelsShopify & Website OptimizationMaintain and optimize Shopify product pages (PDPs)Ensure PDP updates reflect active promotions correctlyEnsure product launches and website merchandising align with campaign plansIdentify opportunities to improve product page conversion and product storytellingSupport merchandising updates tied to marketing campaignsMarketing Systems & IntegrationsMonitor Shopify, analytics, SEO, and marketing tool integrationsIdentify and resolve marketing system or tracking issues quicklyEnsure marketing data accurately reflects campaign performanceSupport tracking, attribution, and marketing reporting accuracyAI & Marketing EfficiencyUse AI tools (GPT, Claude, and others) to accelerate marketing executionExperiment with AI workflows to improve marketing productivityBuild repeatable systems that reduce manual marketing workImprove documentation and execution through AI-assisted workflowsProcess Documentation & ImprovementDocument marketing workflows and execution processesIdentify operational bottlenecks and propose improvementsBuild structured launch checklists and QA workflowsContinuously improve how marketing execution is organized and managedWhat Success Looks LikeWhen this role is successful:Marketing projects consistently launch on time and on scheduleCampaign launches consistently meet internal QA standards before going liveCampaigns execute with high accuracy and minimal errorsShopify product pages improve conversion and product storytellingPromotions display correctly across PDPs and campaignsMarketing systems operate reliably without constant troubleshootingCampaigns execute smoothly across channelsAI tools and automation improve marketing productivityMarketing workflows become structured, documented, and repeatableThis Role Is Great For Someone WhoYou will likely thrive in this role if you:Enjoy working with systems, tools, and technical marketing platformsLike figuring out how marketing workflows can run more efficientlyNaturally notice when processes could be improvedEnjoy experimenting with AI tools and modern marketing technologyLike building structured systems where details don't fall through the cracksPrefer technical marketing execution over purely creative marketing workCare about execution accuracy and quality controlRequired ExperienceExperience working with Shopify or ecommerce platformsExperience coordinating marketing campaigns, launches, or projectsFamiliarity with marketing analytics, tracking, and marketing toolsExperience using AI tools to improve workflows or productivityExperience working with DTC brands doing $20M+ in annual revenueStrong project management and execution disciplineExperience ensuring campaign accuracy or QA validation preferredStrong PreferencePersonal interest in strength training, gym equipment, or fitness cultureExperience coordinating ecommerce product launchesExperience working with ecommerce merchandising and PDP optimizationFamiliarity with DTC ecommerce marketing execution environmentsNice To HaveExperience with marketing systems integrations and automationFamiliarity with conversion optimization or behavioral marketingExperience coordinating creator or affiliate programsExperience working cross-functionally with ecommerce teamsCompensation$50K – $70K base salary Up to $10K quarterly performance bonus Compensation can flex upward for exceptional candidatesLocationAustin-based preferred or willing to relocate.Hybrid role with the majority of time in the office and 1–2 days per week remote.
