About us West Side Contracting is a small business in Brookpark, OH. 35 years in business as a GC owner/operated. In-house work includes licensed plumber, framing, drywall, drop ceiling, etc. ## Overview We are seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating and project management, ensuring accurate and competitive bids for construction projects. ## Duties - Oversee the estimation process from project inception to completion - Analyze project requirements and develop cost estimates - Collaborate with the construction team to ensure accurate pricing - Utilize software for estimating purposes - Manage contract negotiations and pricing strategies - Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction phase - Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for pricing information - Visit construction sites as needed to assess project scope ## Skills - Proficiency in project management principles - Extensive experience in construction estimating - Strong knowledge of software for estimating purposes - Ability to negotiate contracts and prices effectively - Familiarity with cost control techniques in construction management - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for construction estimating and possess the skills mentioned above, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as an Estimating Manager to assist in our company's growth.
