Responsible for the distribution of information and training of branch and departmental staff affected by process changes and new product implementation throughout the organization.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNone required.Essential FunctionsConducts classroom and virtual training to include teller training and other retail operations training to include projects in support of retail operations and other areas of the credit union. Responsible for updates and maintains training materials for training classes as policies, procedures, products, and regulations change. Participates in training videos to include but not limited voiceovers, and acting, etc. Represents Keesler Federal as the “subject matter expert” in areas of training expertise and provides support and response to inquiries for team members. Attends train-the-trainer sessions to become proficient in training areas outside of current expertise. Operates training equipment, including computer, television, Solstice screens, video camera, projector, calculator, etc. Demonstrates superior member service skills and acts as a positive role model for all team members. Responsible for compliance with all Federal regulations including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Other Duties And Responsibilities Other duties as assigned. Knowledge of adult teaching techniques preferred. Must possess working knowledge of credit union regulations, policies and procedures. Must have a foundational understanding of handling monetary instruments, including cash, checks, bonds, cashier’s checks, and certified funds, with the ability to accurately follow standard procedures Must be comfortable and effective with presenting in front of a large group of employees at all levels. Must be available to travel to branches and other departments as needed for training to include overnight and extended stays. (25% - 35%) Interpersonal SkillsA significant level of trust and diplomacy is required in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating, influencing or training others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.Computer SkillsProficient in Microsoft applications. Experience with JHA financial institution software a plus.
