Mechanical / Design Engineer

Automated Industrial Motion is a progressive manufacturer of CNC Spring Coiling Machines and custom equipment located in Fruitport MI. AIM is seeking a motivated, team oriented, individual to fill a Mechanical Engineer position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: CNC Spring Coiler setup and programming. Design of Spring Coiler tooling, job specific. CNC Spring Coiler runoffs. Customer Liaison for training, tooling, and production needs. Hands on approach when completing tasks. Ability to work in a small company environment. Candidate Requirements: BSME - Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Working knowledge of Solidworks 3D CAD software. Mechanical Aptitude with technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects or tasks. Knowledge of SPC. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and Project). Team Oriented. Prompt, Personable, and Determined.
