Account Manager

ABOUT THE ROLEWe are a contract personal care manufacturer producing skin care, hair care, and body care products for brands sold across mass market, prestige, online, and spa channels. As we grow our customer base and project pipeline, we are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Account Manager to work directly under our Head of Sales.This person will serve as the internal backbone of our sales operation — managing active projects from initial inquiry through launch, ensuring all required documentation is collected and complete at each project stage, and allowing our Head of Sales to focus on building relationships and winning new business.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAccount Management•       Serve as the primary point of contact for existing customers on active projects•       Respond to customer inquiries, status updates, and follow-ups in a timely and professional manner•       Assist in preparing preliminary pricing and project quotes under the direction of the Head of Sales•       Support onboarding of new customers with customer experience team.by gathering project briefs, component details, and fill specifications•       Help manage customer expectations and maintain strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle•       Stay current on product categories (skin care, hair care, body care) to offer/suggest line extensions to existing and new customersProject Management•       Own and maintain the active project pipeline (currently 98+ projects in various stages)•       Track project status from preliminary pricing and lab sampling, through pilot batch and launch PO•       Create and manage project timelines, ensuring internal milestones are met across departments•       Support onboarding of new projects by gathering project briefs along with BOM details•       Coordinate with the lab on sample requests, formula revisions, and approval status•       Develop a working understanding of BOM structure including components, fills, packaging formats, and raw material considerations•       Work with internal teams to validate BOM accuracy prior to customer’s final pricing and pilot/launch•       Facilitate communication between sales, lab, regulatory, operations, and the customer•       Anticipate bottlenecks and proactively escalate issues to the Head of SalesDocumentation Tracking & Collection•       Coordinate with the Regulatory team and lab to ensure documents are completed and delivered on schedule (for example: ingredient list, Safety Data Sheet, Certificate of Analysis, QQ)•       Follow up internally to ensure nothing is missing or delayed at any project milestone•       Maintain organized, accurate project files for each customer and brand•       Ensure all required sign-offs and approvals are obtained before pilot or production stages advance•       Serve as the central point of accountability for documentation completeness — not creationQUALIFICATIONSRequired•       2–5 years of experience in project coordination, inside sales, or account management•       Exceptional organizational skills — able to manage a large number of simultaneous projects without losing detail•       Strong written and verbal communication skills•       Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint) and/or project management tools (Asana, Monday.com, Trello, etc.)•       A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset with strong follow-throughPreferred•       Experience in personal care, cosmetics, consumer packaged goods, or contract manufacturing•       Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment•       Exposure to new product development or lab coordination processesWHY JOIN US•       Play a meaningful role in growing a dynamic contract manufacturing business•       Work directly with senior leadership and gain broad exposure to the personal care industry•       Be part of a company in an exciting growth phase under new ownership•       Opportunity to grow as the sales team expands
