Job DescriptionRoleJoin Newmark this summer for an immersive 12-week internship in the heart of New York City. We are looking for ambitious students to help us redefine the future of Commercial Real Estate through cutting-edge technology. You won't just be shadowing; edging into our core engineering teams, you will build, ship, and scale products that impact global markets.Tracks Full Stack Developer : Build responsive front-ends and robust APIs. Data & ML Engineer : Design data pipelines and deploy predictive models. IT Operations Engineer : Optimize enterprise systems and hardware integration. Site Reliability Engineer : Ensure our platform remains scalable and highly available.ResponsibilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy core projects from scratch using React/Next.js and programming languages like Typescript, C# or Python.Participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups, and architectural design sessions alongside senior engineers.Tackle complex technical challenges ranging from optimizing database queries to improving CI/CD pipeline efficiency.Work closely with Product Managers and Designers to transform business requirements into functional code.Contribute to Newmark’s internal AI and automation tools to streamline global operations.QualificationsWhat We’re Looking ForCurrently enrolled in a BS or MS program in Computer Science or a related technical field.Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, networking, and security.Experience with one or more preferred: TypeScript, Python, C#, React/Next.js.Passion for high-growth environments and a "builder" mindset.Systematic approach to tackling complex challenges with effective solutions.Excellent communication skills, and a passion for continuous learning.Salary Range LanguageThe expected rate for this position ranges from $25.00 to $30.00 hourly. The actual hourly rate will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held.
