Infection Prevention (IP) & COVID Operations Nurse

It is our mission at GraceMore Nursing & Rehab, to keep all of our vulnerable residents safe! We need a dedicated Infection Prevention (IP) & QAPI Nurse! This position will be assisting with the facility’s infection prevention and QAPI processes. The ideal applicant will be hardworking, reliable, detail-oriented, dynamic, and high-motivated. Location: Brunswick, GA RESPONSIBILITIES (not all-inclusive) Assist with various aspects of infection control including but not limited to educating employees on hygiene best practices, social distancing, and mask sanitation Work in collaboration with the facility’s Infection Preventionist Nurse Perform other duties as assigned including QAPI QUALIFICATIONS Current unencumbered LPN or RN nursing license in Georgia or an unencumbered multistate license; Strong computer, customer service, and communication (written and verbal) skills are preferred; Ability to wear full PPE (Personal Protected Equipment) and practice social distancing of at least 6 feet apart when applicable; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task; Must meet all health requirements, including TB and drug screen; Must pass a criminal background check; Our focus on high-quality results creates a challenging, fast-paced, and rewarding environment.
