Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, developing predictive models, and leveraging machine learning techniques to drive business insights. This role requires a strong foundation in statistical analysis, programming, and data management, as well as the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
Duties
Analyze large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
Develop and implement machine learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, R, and Python.
Utilize ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into databases.
Design and maintain databases with a focus on performance optimization and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
Conduct data mining activities to uncover valuable information from structured and unstructured data sources.
Deploy models into production environments while ensuring robustness and reliability.
Utilize big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark for processing large volumes of data efficiently.
Implement natural language processing techniques for text analysis and sentiment detection.
Create visualizations and reports using tools like Looker to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C, and experience with Bash (Unix shell).
Strong knowledge of SQL for database querying and management.
Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, SAS).
Experience with unsupervised learning techniques and model training methodologies.
Understanding of linked data concepts and analytics best practices.
Knowledge of Talend for data integration tasks is a plus.
Experience in quantum engineering or related fields is advantageous but not required.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.
