The client is specifically looking for engineers who are comfortable working directly on mobile phones, performing teardown, rework, soldering, and hardware modifications in a lab environment.What the client is really looking forMust-Have Skills:Mobile phone teardown and disassembly (Android/iPhone devices)Soldering, microsoldering and hardware reworkBGA extraction, reballing, component replacement, and board modificationsHands-on lab experience using oscilloscopes, power analyzers, multimeters, etc.Board-level debugging and failure analysisSilicon Validation (SiVal) / Post-Silicon ValidationPower and Performance CharacterizationHardware troubleshooting and root cause analysisPreferred Experience:Android or iOS device validationMobile SoC validationJTAG debuggingPython automationPower measurements and workload characterizationIdeal Candidate:We need a hands-on Mobile Device Hardware Validation Engineer who can:Tear down phonesPerform soldering and board reworkConduct silicon validation and power measurementsDebug hardware issues using lab equipmentSupport characterization and analysis activities in a silicon lab environment
