CNC Production Machinist

General Description: CNC Production Machinist is required to perform the following duties and responsibilities; Will set-up and operate CNC Lathes & CNC Mills Must be able to prepare work to be accomplished by studying, blueprint specifications; gathering tools and materials. Positions parts and by using templates or reading measurements. Examine connections for correct fit; securely fastening material/parts in jaws correctly to ensure high quality. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with company procedures, rules, and regulations Set and hold tolerances Experience & Requirements: Dexterity: must be able to work with their hands, whether directly manipulating components or using controls on CNC & Mill machines. Math: Basic math is needed due to the technological needs of the manufacture parts Mechanical/Technical Skills: need to be able to read and understand blueprints, manuals, and work with computers. Must be able lift 50 lbs. during the manufacturing process to accomplish all jobs duties that are required Stamina: Must be able stand for long periods of time often doing repetitious motions. Communication: Must be able to: Speak, Read, and Write - English is required. A stable work history with a positive and professional attitude is required. 2 years CNC machine experience.
