The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable using hand and power tools, and able to juggle multiple priorities while supporting supervisors, equipment operators, and the production team. This position plays a key role in sanitation, safety, and preventative maintenance across the facility.ResponsibilitiesMaintain a clean, organized, and professional facility and groundsEnsure facility and equipment meet food-grade and sanitation standardsPerform basic preventative maintenance on facility and production equipment per manufacturer requirementsSafely operate facility equipment and shop vehiclesComplete drywall, painting, and general repair projectsPerform basic plumbing and electrical repairsConduct preventative maintenance, cleaning, operational, and safety inspections on lift equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and shop vehiclesConduct equipment audits and verify proper machine operation during routine preventative maintenanceClean machinery, equipment, and work areas following repairsFollow all OSHA and company safety rules and regulationsComplete additional projects and duties as assignedQualifications / RequirementsMechanical aptitude with experience using hand and power toolsThis position requires successful completion of a background screening after a conditional offer of employment, in accordance with Washington State law.Ability to take direction from multiple sources and adapt to changing prioritiesStrong attention to detail with a commitment to completing tasks accurately and on timeReliable transportation and excellent attendance recordValid driver's license with an acceptable driving record to operate company vehiclesComfortable working in a manufacturing or industrial environmentAbility to obtain certification to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor liftsStrong safety awareness and sound judgment regarding potential hazardsPhysical DemandsAbility to stand, walk, twist, and bend for up to 2-hour incrementsRegular xevrcyc lifting of tools and equipment up to 50 lbs (team assistance for weights over 50 lbs)Ability to lift items 4–5 feet and load into trucksAbility to reach below or above shoulder level for extended periods with weights between 15–25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally)Occasional climbing of ladders and plant structuresAbility to work physically active shifts of up to 10 hours per dayBenefits Available to Eligible Express Associates:Medical PlanDental PlanHoliday Pay (6 Days Observed)401 (k) Retirement Savings PlanVision/Eyewear PlanLife InsurancePrescription Drug ReimbursementShort-Term DisabilityReferral BonusesExpress Office: Lynnwood19009 33rd Ave W Ste 204Lynnwood, WA 98036425-775-4903#ExpressProsLynnwoodWA #2592ST
