Job Title: Deployment EngineerLocation: Cary, NC (Onsite)Duration: 4 Months ContractPosition Summary:We are seeking a Deployment Engineer to be part of a multi-squad network transformation initiative focused on migrating enterprise security infrastructure from Check Point to Fortinet technologies.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for Check Point to Fortinet migration activitiesTake part in deployment, configuration, and optimization of FortiGate firewallAnalyze existing Check Point firewall policies, VPNs, NAT configurations, and security architecturCoordinate migration planning, execution, testing, and rollback strategiesWork closely with NetDevOps and SRE teams to support automation and operational improvementParticipate in maintenance windows, change management, and production rolloutEnsure all migration work follows enterprise security and compliance standardRequired Skills:3+ years of network deployment or network security engineering experienceFortinet FortiGate experienceCheck Point firewall administration experienceExperience with firewall migration projectsCisco routing and switching expertiseVPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN, Site-to-Site VPn.FortiManager and centralized policy managementFirewall policy analysis and migratiHigh Availability (HA) firewall deploymentsStrong troubleshooting skillsPreferred Skills:Fortinet NSE 4/5/7 certificationCCNP or CCNP SecurityArista networking experiencePython automation experienceFinancial services experience
