Job Title: Project Manager Job Type: Full-time direct hire Job Location: Kenner, LA (Onsite) Salary: DoE Work Authorisation: US Citizen/GC Top skill: rotating equipment experience Job Description We are looking for a project manager for Kenner, LA location with at least five years of project management experience to manage and coordinate complex projects for our shop and field operations. The client is a global provider of manufacturing, repair, installation, and maintenance services for rotating equipment in power plants, refineries, chemical plants, sugar mills, agricultural facilities, and water/sewer plants Typical Day At The Office: Evaluate and develop customer proposals for work opportunities Ensure the quality of work performed by all parties involved in the project Coordinate procurement of materials and 3rd party services as required for work execution Foster communication between client and customers and record details as needed Oversee and support field personnel in the execution of work at customer locations Guarantee the quality of shop and field projects by offering technical expertise and oversite Coordinate purchasing materials and vendor services for project needs Support the billing process for managed projects as required Coordinate with shop and field management to develop project outlines and pricing Work directly with the sales team and customers to secure additional work opportunities Manage and assist with developing customer project needs of finite or extended durations Provide tailored solutions to meet customers and their project needs Collaborate with skilled employees to help them develop their technical abilities alongside their supervisors and managers Collaborate with management to create and complete projects and plans to enhance daily operations Represent client professionally Requirements: Adequate understanding of the English language (spoken & written) Must have the authorization to work in the US and be able to provide proof of entitlement All candidates receiving an employment offer must pass a standard drug and background screening before employment begins Possess five years of experience in project management in a related field The capacity to traverse a mechanic shop or office environment with/without accommodation Possess sufficient vision: both near and distant, able to adjust visual deception.
