Construction Materials Testing Technician

Job overview The construction material testing technician will perform field testing on concrete and soils, field observation, and inspection of construction materials and activities (steel, asphalt, etc.). Deliver results to project manager for review and communicate with clients about the testing, observation and inspection results. Training provided for this position, specifically focusing on working with soils, concrete, and asphalt within a laboratory setting. Prepare documentations for the activities and results of the testing, observation and inspection. Assist laboratory in preparing samples and perform testing on soil, aggregates and concrete.
