We are seeking a CNC Mill Setup / Operator to join our growing team on 1st Shift. This role is ideal for a skilled CNC Machinist who can demonstrate proficiency in setting up, and operating CNC Machining Centers or similar precision equipment. This position is responsible for efficient setups and production runs while maintaining high quality parts through in-process inspections. Why Work With Us State-of-the-art CNC equipment including the latest 3, 4, 5 Axis machines A brand-new, climate-controlled facility designed for safety, comfort, and precision Low-cost and comprehensible health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan Strong mentorship culture where experienced machinists are happy to share their knowledge Team-first environment where your input is valued and your growth is supported A stable day shift with dependable hours and optional overtime available Competitive pay based on programming & machining experience What You Will Do Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines using Okuma and Fanuc Controls Efficiently perform setups and production runs while maintaining tight tolerances Create, modify, and optimize programs to improve efficiency and part quality Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications Conduct in-process inspections using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.) Maintain setup sheets, tool lists, and documentation for repeatability and process control Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and other machinists to support workflow and problem-solvingEnsure equipment is maintained in good working condition and assist with preventive maintenance Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe shop environment Perform other duties as assigned Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required Minimum 5 years’ experience setting up, programming, and operating CNC machining centers Proven expertise with Okuma and Fanuc controls required Qualifications Knowledge of G-Code programming and CNC lathe setup Solid background in manual machining and traditional toolroom practices Experience with GD&T and Part Processing methods Familiarity with Mastercam tool path generation Exposure to SPC, Lean Manufacturing, and process improvement principles Experience working with robotic mill and lathe work cells Physical Requirements Prolonged periods standing, bending, and operating machines Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precision machining tasks Visual acuity for reading blueprints, inspecting parts, and operating equipment safely Ready to join a company that invests in your success?
