This role blends core accounting responsibilities with Accounts Payable (AP), inventory accounting, and general purchasing functions, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both financial accuracy and operational coordination.This position works directly with the Controller and collaborates across multiple departments, including operations and procurement. The ideal candidate thrives in a small but rapidly growing company, where adaptability, ownership, and a hands-on approach are key to success.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral AccountingPrepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjustmentsPerform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepanciesMaintain and reconcile inventory accounts, including tracking movements and variancesReconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy and completenessAssist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processesSupport financial statement preparation and audit requestsMaintain accurate and organized financial recordsAccounts Payable (AP)Process vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding and approvalsManage payment cycles (checks, ACH, wire transfers)Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepanciesMaintain vendor files, including W-9s and compliance documentationRespond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional mannerPurchasing & ProcurementCoordinate purchase requests and issue purchase orders (POs)Partner with internal departments to ensure proper authorization and budget alignmentSource vendors and obtain competitive pricing when neededTrack orders, deliveries, and inventory levelsMaintain purchasing records and ensure alignment with company policiesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field1–2 years of accounting experience (AP, inventory, and/or purchasing experience preferred)Strong understanding of GAAP principlesExperience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs a plus)Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong communication and problem-solving abilitiesWhat We OfferSalary Range: $35,000 - $40,000 annuallyHealth benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
