The Regional Manager is a role model and demonstrates the company’s core values. Responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, training, evaluating and motivating employees in their assigned area, as well as a subset of Area Managers, to achieve the mission of fast and friendly service.MFA Petroleum Company is an Equal Opportunity/Drug-Free Employer.ResponsibilitiesSupport the Company Vision and Mission and implement the strategies necessary to achieve themEnsure that all stores provide customer service that meets or exceeds company standards and customer expectationsMaintain high standards of store image, ensuring that all stores are clean, well-stocked, and ready for businessEnsure that all assigned stores operate within established inventory levels, salary budgets (and other control lines), and gross profit margins to achieve maximum profitabilityBuild store sales and gross profits through implementation of corporate merchandising policies, procedures, and programsSupport and enforce all company policies and local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including ensuring all employees abide by local, state, and federal guidelines for the sale of alcohol and tobacco Assure that personnel processes (hiring, training, employee evaluations, employee discipline and termination actions) are carried out in a legal, ethical, and timely manner, and in accordance with company policy and federal, state and local regulationsActively assist with all Marketing Department promotions Conduct merchandise price surveys, observe competitors, and recommend changes when appropriateManage and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties, including hiring, evaluating performance, providing feedback and development opportunities, and taking disciplinary action when necessary Serve as first point of contact for Area Managers concerning operational questions, providing suggestions and ideas on how to resolve issues. Ensure Area Managers and store management team timely complete required daily, weekly, and monthly paperworkEstablish individual and team goals for each department, as well as establish personal goals with senior leadership; ensure goals are attainable and trackableEnsure employees follow posted work schedules and adhere to proper clocking procedures to accurately reflect hours workedPrepare and submit recommended budgets for departmental operationsAll MFA Oil employees are expected to know and adhere to company and position specific policies and procedures.
