Power Program Manager

Overview In this role you will lead programs delivering power infrastructure projects, guiding multi-disciplinary teams to meet client goals. You will act as a trusted advisor to client leadership, shaping delivery strategies and governance. You’ll manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk while ensuring quality and contract compliance. You will partner with internal teams and clients to drive efficient, transparent program execution. ResponsibilitiesLead multidisciplinary teams to deliver T&D, power generation, and renewable projects to achieve client outcomesServe as primary client contact for scope, contracts, program performance, and staffingAdvise clients on technical, regulatory, strategic, and financial aspects of power programsDirect and manage services by HDR staff and subconsultants across engineering, controls, routing/siting, environmental, real estate, communications, data managementAssess staffing needs and secure resources while ensuring contract compliancePromote team alignment on program mission and implement QA/QC programsFacilitate risk workshops and develop risk management plans with risk professionalsDevelop and implement program management plans, processes, and tools to drive efficiency and accountabilityMonitor scope, schedule, and budget with project controls; adjust as necessaryPrepare monthly program reports and dashboards for internal and client stakeholdersCollaborate with business development to identify growth opportunities and support proposalsTravel approximately 25% of the time Key requirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, Sciences, Business Administration, or related fieldProgram management experience with large capital projects (various pathways and years depending on role)Strong leadership and communication skillsExperience with alternative delivery methods (DB, PDB, CMAR)Familiarity with PMIS/CMIS tools, scheduling, cost control, risk management, dashboardsCommitment to employee-owned culturestrong communicationleadershipcollaborationPMIS/CMIS toolsscheduling and cost controlrisk management
