At Belt Power, we don’t just sell products—we partner with our customers to solve problems and create long-term value.The OpportunityWe’re looking for a driven, relationship-focused Territory Manager (Outside Sales) to grow and manage business within an assigned territory. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing existing customer relationships, expanding strategic accounts, and acquiring new business through a consultative sales approach.You’ll work closely with the Business Unit Leader (BUL), internal sales teams, and operational partners to identify growth opportunities, increase market penetration, and ensure successful product and service implementation. If you thrive in a customer-facing environment and enjoy seeing the direct impact of your efforts, this role is for you.What You'll DoDevelop and grow strong relationships with existing customers to drive retention and profitable growthProactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within your territoryPromote and sell Belt Power products and services through a consultative, value-added sales approachBuild and maintain a robust sales pipeline while meeting or exceeding territory growth objectives and KPI’sCollaborate with Inside Sales (Account Managers) to develop quotes and track order statusCoordinate joint sales calls with manufacturers, suppliers, and adjacent territory sales teamsParticipate in trade shows, conventions, and industry networking eventsTrack, analyze, and report sales activity and pipeline data using CRM/ERP systemsProvide feedback to leadership on customer needs, competitive activity, and emerging market opportunitiesDemonstrate products and solutions to help customers identify the best fit for their operationsEnsure accurate execution of contracts, pricing, RFQs, and customer timelinesMaintain a proactive call plan aligned with territory goalsRepresent Belt Power professionally at all times while supporting company culture and safety standardsRequirementsWhat we're looking forPrevious outside sales experience in industrial distribution (preferred)Experience with conveyors and/or automation (preferred)Working knowledge of CRM and/or ERP systemsStrong customer focus with a consultative mindsetHigh attention to detail and strong observational skillsProficiency with Microsoft OfficeAbility to lift up to 50 poundsWillingness to work overtime, weekends, and travel (including overnight) as neededValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordAbility to pass a drug screen and background checkPreferred CharacteristicsHighly motivated, proactive, and results-drivenOrganized, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple prioritiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsTeam-oriented with a collaborative approachClear understanding of the outside sales processPassion for learning new products, systems, and processesPhysical Demands & Work EnvironmentThis role requires the ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and involves extended periods of sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, and walking. The Territory Manager may work around moving mechanical equipment, tools, and machinery, with exposure to loud noise levels at times. Proper PPE is required.Schedule & TravelThis is a full-time position with work performed in the office, shop, and at customer sites.
