The ideal canidate for us would be especially skilled in finacial management, taxes, forecasting costs, and utilizing quickbooks as well as have knowledge on employee onboarding, implementing benefits packages, and willing to learn additional tasks as needed in the office.

Job Summary: An accountant is responsible for managing and reporting financial data for an organization. This role involves preparing financial statements, examining and analyzing accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Conduct audits to ensure financial integrity and compliance.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Prepare tax returns and ensure timely payment of taxes.
Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations.
Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
Maintain and update accounting systems and software.
Collaborate with other departments to support overall financial goals.
Perform payroll and other accounts payable duties
Assist with job forecasting and correlation of job data
Coordinate the new employee onboarding process and transfer of subcontracted employees to W9 employees
Seek/implement opportunities that provide better structure and benefits across the company
Assist with implementing new employee benefits
Other duties as discussed during interview
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
