The CAD Drafter will be able to produce the following:2D existing‑conditions residential floor plans from field measurements, photos, sketches, or PDFsPrepare clean, organized base drawings for construction documentsFollow established layer standards, line weights, and annotation stylesTranslate field notes and markups into accurate, buildable drawingsDeliver DWG + PDFProvide timely revisions as neededQualificationsStrong proficiency in AutoCAD LT 2026Experience drafting residential as‑builtsAbility to interpret field measurements, photos, and redlinesClean drafting habits (orthogonal geometry, no stacked lines, proper layers)Reliable communication and consistent turnaround timesPreferred (Not Required) Familiar with 2025 NYS residential building & energy codesAbility to draft simple elevations, sections, or detailsExperience supporting architects/engineers on permit setsResidential construction estimating
