International Tax Consultant
Beech Valley is seeking an experienced International Tax Consultant to support a growing portfolio of inbound clients, primarily from Europe, entering or expanding within the United States. This role is ideal for a tax professional who thrives in a dynamic, cross-border environment and enjoys working on complex structuring and advisory projects.
This opportunity will begin on a project basis, with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs.
Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise on U.S. tax implications for foreign-owned entities operating or expanding in the U.S.
Support initial U.S. entity structuring and market entry strategies
Assist with restructuring initiatives for multinational organizations
Perform withholding tax analysis and related compliance considerations
Analyze permanent establishment (PE) exposure and related risks
Conduct trust and entity classification analysis for cross-border structures
Prepare clear, well-supported technical tax memoranda
Participate in client calls and internal discussions, providing practical, actionable insights
Collaborate with cross-functional teams while also managing workstreams independently
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, MST, or JD/LL.M. (Tax) preferred
3+ years of international tax experience, ideally with inbound U.S. taxation exposure
Strong knowledge of U.S. international tax concepts, including entity structuring, PE, and withholding
Proven ability to draft technical memoranda and communicate complex issues clearly
Experience working with foreign-owned U.S. businesses or multinational clients
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a project-based environment
Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with both clients and internal stakeholders
