Surgery - General Physician

Job Description A community hospital in Mexia, Texas, is seeking an experienced (3+ years) General Surgeon to join a busy multi-specialty clinic located adjacent to the hospital. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a broad range of bread-and-butter general surgery. This solo opportunity includes 10 days of call per month, with only one weekend per month. Additional call days beyond 10 are compensated. Total compensation is in the MGMA-median range or better (based on experience), with the opportunity to bonus quarterly. Other surgical specialties at the facility include spine, ENT, and orthopedics. A strong primary care base in Mexia and surrounding communities provides an ideal referral network.
