Etch Equipment Maintenance Technician - Nights 2
Job Summary:Troubleshoot and repair all hardware and process failures for the following tool set: AMAT (DPSII, DPS, MxP, MxP+, IPS, Super E & 5200's), Ulvac, Gasonics, Fusion Gemini & LAM (4400 & Coronus) Dry Etch tools.Perform preventive maintenance activities following standardized work documentsUse SPC charts and FabGuard Fault Detection (FDC) software to evaluate tool performanceDocument maintenance activities and assist in improving standardized work documents for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasksMaintain spare parts inventory and various other activities related to the success of the areaSelf-motivated; able to take initiative with minimal supervisionAbility to interact with multiple disciplines in a 7x24 manufacturing facilityStrong data analysis, troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication skillsAptitude and desire to learn new skillsAbility to thrive in a multi-cultural environmentKey Challenges:Troubleshoot complex hardware and process issues across a variety of process chambersUse SPC and FabGuard Fault Detection and Classification data to troubleshoot complex equipment and process issuesAbility to deal with multiple equipment downs and shifting prioritiesCross functional aspects:Assist Equipment Engineers with equipment upgrades, improvements and long down troubleshootingWork with process technicians on wafer recoveries and post maintenance qualification tasksCoordinate equipment down time with Manufacturing LeadsJob Qualifications:Associate's Degree (or higher) in an engineering or science disciplineMinimum of 5 years semiconductor manufacturing experienceMinimum of 7 years of NXP (or affiliate) experience may qualify in lieu of degreeExperience with advanced electronics, equipment troubleshooting, installation, repair and operation of Semiconductor manufacturing equipment.Must be able to read schematics and complex drawings/diagramsMust be physically capable of standing for long periods of time as well as lifting and carrying objects up to 50 poundsAbility to work well in a diverse team environment and multitask with minimal supervision while adjusting to changing prioritiesAnalytical problem solving and testing skillsMore information about NXP in the United States...NXP is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer regardless of age, color, national origin, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, marital status, status as a disabled veteran and/or veteran of the Vietnam Era or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
