Environmental Health Safety Specialist

Position Details:Job Title: HSES SpecialistDuration: 12 Months (possibility of extension or full-time)Key Responsibilities:Support Health, Safety, Environmental, and Security programs across operations facilitiesEnsure compliance with HSE regulations and company standardsConduct hazard recognition, root cause analysis, and corrective actionsPrepare reports, metrics, charts, presentations, and training materialsAssist with environmental, industrial hygiene, transportation, and safety initiativesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Safety, or related field2+ years of experience in Occupational Safety, Environmental, Industrial Hygiene, or related areaStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsExperience with Google or Microsoft SuitePassion for HSE and influencing a strong safety culturePreferred Qualifications:Chemical industry or plant-level HSES experienceKnowledge of Cal-OSHA / EPA regulationsSAP experience is a plus
