Job DescriptionJunior Estimator - Interior ConstructionA respected and growing General Contractor is seeking a Junior Estimator to join their team in the DC area. They specialize in interior build-outs, renovations, and tenant improvements within commercial, government, and multifamily sectors and are looking for a driven, detail-oriented professional eager to grow within a collaborative preconstruction team.Responsibilities:Assist in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for interior construction projectsPerform quantity takeoffs for interior scopes including framing, drywall, ceilings, flooring, finishes, and millworkReview drawings, specifications, and addenda for interior build-outs and renovationsSupport the solicitation and leveling of subcontractor and supplier bidsHelp develop budgets, scope breakdowns, and bid packagesParticipate in value engineering and cost analysis effortsCollaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure smooth project handoffQualifications:2-5 years of experience in estimating or interior construction (commercial, government, or multifamily preferred)Exposure to interior build-outs, tenant improvements, or renovation projectsStrong understanding of interior finishes and related tradesFamiliarity with takeoff and estimating software preferredDetail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skillsEagerness to learn and grow within a supportive team environmentStrong communication and collaboration skillsWhat's Offered:Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision)401(k) with company matchAnnual bonus opportunitiesSupportive, team-oriented environmentRegular lunch & learns and professional development programsA company culture built on growth, collaboration, and integrityIf you're looking to join a company that values its people and promotes from within, this is an excellent opportunity.
