Fire Sub-Code Official

FIRE SUB-CODE OFFICIAL - TOWNSHIP OF HOWELL - The Township of Howell is seeking a qualified full-time candidate to carry out the responsibilities of Fire Sub-Code Official in accordance with the State Uniform Construction Code and under the direction of the Construction Official. Qualified candidate must possess a valid HHS License and must have a minimum of three years' experience in Fire inspections. Additional UCC Inspector License is a plus. Duties consist of reviewing plans, conducting field Inspections, including office interaction with the public. Experience with SDL is a plus. This position is aligned with the TWU bargaining unit and offers a starting annual salary of $75,061 at a grade 28 step 1, along with a comprehensive health benefits package and other applicable benefits. Said position is Monday through Friday 8:30am-4:30pm with a one hour lunch break. Interested candidates must submit an online Township application and resume.
