As the Regional Director of Construction, you will serve as the ultimate authority on project execution, safety, and quality across our high-density Midwest portfolio.This is a high-impact leadership role designed for a \"Field General\" who has mastered the complexities of large-scale construction and is ready to oversee a regional portfolio from an owner's perspective.The Portfolio: \"Big Building\" & Podium MasteryOur projects are large-scale, high-density, and technically demanding. We require an expert with a verifiable track record in:Complex Podium-Wrap: Mastery of Type III over Type I (concrete-to-wood) high-density builds.Large-Scale Multi-Unit: Success delivering \"big building\" complexes (300+ units).Regional Oversight: Ability to lead a portfolio valued at $500M+ in active construction.What You’ll DoExecutive Field Leadership: Standardize best-in-class field operations and quality control across all regional project sites.Team Architecture: Recruit, mentor, and hold accountable a high-performing team of Project Superintendents.Strategic Pre-Construction: Serve as the final word on constructability, site logistics, and sequencing during the design phase.Risk Mitigation: Proactively resolve enterprise-level risks related to labor markets and supply chain.Efficiency & Logistics: Leverage elite transportation and logistics support to maintain high-frequency oversight of regional job sites without the traditional travel burnout.The Requirements20+ Years in Construction Leadership with a specific focus on Large-Scale Multifamily.Podium Authority: Recognized industry expert in Podium-Wrap and high-density builds.Systems Mindset: You build the systems and cultures that allow projects to succeed at scale.Executive Presence: Ability to command respect on the job site and provide strategic value to ownership.Tech Mastery: Expert proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and enterprise scheduling tools.
