Since our creation, we have become one of Denver’s most innovative space startups, specializing in helping spacecraft get to space fast.Role SummaryWarpWare is seeking an Embedded Space Software Engineer to develop capabilities for the WarpWare software platform, perform research and development, and deliver on contracts for a variety of commercial and government customers. Due to a high volume of applications, WarpWare cannot guarantee candidates who apply only via LinkedIn will be considered.ResponsibilitiesThis role involves working on a variety of projects across the space domain, including rocket launch, rendezvous and proximity operations (RPO), Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and Geosynchronous (GEO) operations, and cislunar operations.Design, develop, and test space systems and softwareInterface regularly with customers Apply systems engineering principles to the development, analysis, and execution of complex systemsThink creatively to develop innovative solutions to challenging problemsDevelop high reliability microcontroller and microprocessor space softwareAnalyze real flight data, develop insights, and iterate system design to improve performanceDevelop software in C++ and (to a lesser extent) PythonShape the future of the WarpWare platformRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering or a related fieldDemonstrated experience exercising strong ownership of complex problemsWillingness to challenge others and be challengedStrong interpersonal and written communication skillsStrong coding and problem solving skillsMust be eligible to perform EAR / ITAR workPreferred QualificationsExperience using C++ and PythonEmbedded software development experienceExperience working on space software projectsCompensation & BenefitsSALARY: $90,000 - $150,000HEALTHCARE: Company subsidized health, dental, and vision insuranceBENEFITS: WarpWare equity ownership, 401(K), flexible PTO
